VOLUME REPLACEMENT + FACIAL BALANCING = Facial Haromony
Aside from the specific areas that can be treated, the overall objective of working with dermal fillers is the create facial harmony and balance while restoring areas of volume loss and correcting wrinkles that have already formed. As we age, we lose volume, expose our skin to damaging elements (sun, smoke, alcohol, stress), develop facial quirks, or sleep on one side more than the other. All of these things create asymmetries and imbalances. Botox can help tame the muscles, but filler is used to correct the volume loss, reshape and enhance.
Danielle Smith NP will sit with you when you come in to discuss your objectives and goals. She will help you develop a treatment plan to accomplish your goals. Often if this covers multiple areas or requires multiple syringes, it can be broken up into sessions depending on your comfort level and budget. With that, Danielle Smith NP, is respectful of the vulnerability of coming in and discussing the things you want to improve; she will not push you or try to upsell you; for this reason, Danielle will vary rarely offer unsolicited advice, so if you would like a full face assessment or to discuss other areas, please ask her.

Danielle's aesthetic procedures are designed to not only fix the symptoms of aging (skin sagging) but also to help prevent further excess skin laxity by providing volume in the right places or reducing wrinkling in other areas. To achieve the best and most complete results, Danielle recommends a combination treatment approach with alternating emphasis on Botox, Dermal Filler, and PDO Threads when needed.
TEMPLES
As we age, we lose fat in our temples, producing a hollowed and sunken look. This greatly ages us. Adding volume to this area to restore the volume loss can create a much more youthful appearance. The best products for this area include Sculptra or Juvederm. By filling in the temples, we add volume in an area that provides structural support to the orbital rim and ocular muscles; this results in an effect that “opens the eyes” and gives a more awake and refreshed look. Filling the temple also balances the cheeks to provide a smoother, more youthful appearance. It also enables us to enhance the cheeks more if we need to gain lower lifting power for the lower face and jowl areas.
CHEEK AUGMENTATION
Cheek augmentation is a cosmetic procedure that attempts to reshape the person’s facial topography into a more visually aesthetic form. Danielle Smith NP uses soft tissue fillers such as Juvederm, VOLUMA, LYFT, and Restylane Contour to enhance your cheek’s natural contour and volume. Often we can experience facial volume loss due to changes in weight or as a natural part of the aging process. By restoring the pronunciation of your cheekbones, you can redefine your facial features. Danielle Smith NP is a brilliant injector who can provide the best results for cheek augmentations while maintaining a natural appearance. Click here for more information on Cheek Augmentation.

Danielle Smith NP, is highly specialized in lip fillers; she is considered one of the best in Miami and has developed her unique style and techniques for injecting lips. Her specialty is creating beautiful shapes with natural-looking volume that creates balance and harmony to your overall face ratios, giving a more youthful appearance. NASOLABIAL FOLDS
Over time, your skin loses elasticity, contributing to moderate to severe parentheses lines and wrinkles around the nose and mouth. While serums and creams work on the skin’s surface, dermal fillers help add volume to smooth these lines and folds to help give you the subtle, long-lasting results you want.
FINE LINES
Filler for “Fine Lines” can cover almost any fine line on the face, including lip lines, extended smile lines, extended crow’s feet, stubborn frown lines, fine lines on the chin, and even the stubborn fine lines above the eyebrow that can be hit with botox. Once you see these lines starting, this is your wear pattern; over time, they will get deeper and deeper. Depending on how deep they are, there are a few different fillers that can be used to procedure a very soft natural result. Most common is Volbella.
CHIN ENHANCEMENT
Filler can add volume to the chin, creating projection to help balance a patient’s profile. The chin can also be sculpted to create a point of pinnacle for an oval-shaped face or kept rounded or even squared off, depending on the face shape that best suits you and your goals. The chin is the most essential element when creating a balanced profile and contoured jawline.
JAWLINE CONTOUR
We can also add filler to the angle of the mandible (corner of the jaw) to create more of the lateral contour and sculpted edge. By building on this area, you are also lifting and pulling some of the skin laxity from the lower face and reducing the appearance of jowls. This creates the appearance of a smooth, tight jawline.
JAWLINE ETCHING
With Jawline Etching, we use a cannula and create a defined edge to the jawline. This gives the appearance of a sharp, straight edge to the jawline running from the chin to the angle. Not everyone is a candidate for this procedure. This is a more advanced technique and something that needs to be built up to. Once the chin and angle have been built out, we can move into the etching. Often the jawline is built up in stages to get the best, most natural-looking results.
HAND REJUVENATION
Hide your age
One of the best ways to tell someone’s actual age is by looking at their hands and chest. These areas are constantly exposed to the same elements as our faces but are often forgotten regarding skin care. As we age, the skin on the back of our hands becomes thinner, showing veins and tendons, resulting in a translucent and fragile appearance. At the same time, our skin becomes thinner; it also loses collagen and elastin, resulting in a sagging/wrinkled appearance. The best way to restore this skin on our aging hands is to replace the volume loss of our subcutaneous tissue with dermal filler. You can achieve a refreshed and youthful appearance to your hands through a series of volume replacement treatments coupled with a skin care - restoration regime. The number of treatments required depends on the extent of volume loss in your hands. Danielle Smith NP, will work with you to design a treatment plan that best meets your needs. Patients can enjoy immediate results that will continue to improve as they progress through the treatment process.
CHEST REJUVENATION
Bring your sexy back
Cleavage can be one of a woman's sexiest physical features. Unfortunately, many factors play into the aging of our chest and cleavage areas, making this area an easy "tell" for our actual age. Danielle Smith, Miami Aesthetic Nurse Practitioner's Neck Rejuvenation is designed to reduce sagging neck and chest skin, remove wrinkles, and improve skin texture and color. Depending on each patient’s needs, Danielle Smith NP will use various products and techniques, including botox, filler, and skin care to reduce wrinkles, tighten loose skin, and improve skin texture.
For many women who love to sleep on their sides or wear push-up bras, this constant folding of our cleavage skin can cause deep wrinkles and folds. If you notice these lines starting to form after you wake up in the morning, now is the time to start acting. The longer you wait to take corrective and preventative measures; the deeper and more permanent these wrinkles will be. Danielle Smith NP has an excellent program for helping to treat patients’ chest aging concerns at all stages of aging.
